Sindh Govt gears up work for Circular Railway revival in Karachi

KARACHI– Sindh government has geared up work for the revival of Circular Railway in Karachi. Chief Secretary Sindh, Rizwan Memon chaired a high level meeting in Karachi on Wednesday during which it was decided that encroachments will be removed to acquire 50 metres of land on the both sides of the railway track from Manghupir Railway Station to Wazir Mansion.

The anti-encroachment derive will start in the area after 10th of Muharram.

In the second phase, encroachments will be removed from the areas falling in District East. It was also decided in the meeting that all concerned department will take part in anti-encroachment derive.
