KARACHI – Sindh Assembly on Friday has approved resolution against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain with majority’s vote for speaking against state institutions.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) put forth the resolution. The resolution states that urging foreign intervention in country’s affairs is attack on its sovereignty.
While talking to the media after assembly session, Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Nisar Khuhro said that no one is Mohajir, everyone in Sindh is a Sindhi. He said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would not tolerate any threat to country’s stability. PPP has fought against every ill element, he added.
