KARACHI (Web Desk) – People from different parts of country are leaving for their hometowns to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with their families as second Eid special train has left for Lahore from Karachi.
Sources told that Pakistan Railways announced to run as many as eight special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha from Saturday.
Special discount of twenty five percent in fares has also been decided for first two days of Eid.
Minister for Railways Khawja Saad Rafique had directed that strict monitoring should be ensured for departure and arrival of special trains.
On the other hand, preparations for Eid are in full swing across the country as crowd is being observed in cattle markets for the purchase of sacrificial animals.
The people have also complained of increased prices of animals due to which some are not able to buy them. Children are also expressing happiness on visiting these markets with their parents.
Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated on Zilhaj 10 every year to immortalize Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim’s (AS) unflinchingly submitting to Allah’s will by showing his readiness to sacrifice his son Prophet Hazrat Ismail (AS).
Muslims across the world sacrifice animals like cows, goats, camels etc on this day as a “reminder of Hazrat Ibrahim’s (AS) unquestioning obedience to Allah.
