Saad Rafique vows to streamline Pakistan Railways

LAHORE 178297_88209132– Speaking to administrators and employees at Pakistan Railways Headquarters here on Thursday, Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said the government would take every possible step to breathe life into Railways which he believes was great asset of the country.

 

He stressed the need of team work and joint efforts by employees to revive golden days of Pakistan Railways.

 

Rafique vowed that he would not take salary, privilege and fringe benefits from Railways. He said corruption would not be tolerated added that all employees to align their faces toward right direction.

 

The minister said all decision would make on merit added that a strict action would be taken against those who are involved in wrong deeds. He said all out efforts would be made to make Pakistan Railways profit-earning organization.

 

All possible measure would be taken to improve the performance of Pakistan Railways and provide maximum facilities to the passengers.

 

The minister said steps would be taken to overcome losses of the national entity, adding mismanagement would not be tolerated at any cost.
