Peshawar: Ninth stage of ‘Sehat Ka Insaf’ underway in KPK

The health campaign was introduced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 

The ninth stage of ‘Sehat Ka Insaf’ (Justice for Health) campaign is underway in Peshawar amid tight security.

Owing to the security threats, section 144 is imposed in the city while a ban on motorcycle riding is also ensured to avoid any untoward incident.According to official statement, the ban on riding motorcycle will remain effective till 5PM today.

Around 746,000 children of 97 union councils will be inoculated against polio and nine other deadly diseases. Over 4,217 teams have been formulated to administer health campaign. Furthermore, 6700 police persoonel have been deployed to maintain law and order.

Furthermore, tablets to filter drinking water will also be distributed in over 300,000 households in this stage.

Thousands of children are being vaccinated against the polio virus during the health campaign introduced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
