PESHAWAR– Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Saturday paid a visit to the Pakistan Army s Peshawar Corps Headquarters and appreciated the efforts of the soldiers in Operations Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber one.
According to the Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR), the COAS was briefed about the Operations going on against terrorists, Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber one.
The COAS showed satisfaction over the performance of the Pakistan Army in both the ongoing operations.
General Sharif was also briefed about the plan for safe return of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
ISPR Director General (DG) Asim Bajwa said that safe return of the IDPs is their first priority and that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb is going on successfully.
He alsos aid that terrorists ahead of Datta Khel region are being targeted effectively and they are suffering huge losses against the Pakistan Army.
Furthermore, he said that at least 400 terrorists have surrendered to the army.
