ISLAMABAD – Rain with thunderstorm is expected in the upper parts of the country during the next two dayswhereas the plain areas of Sindh will remain in the grip of heatwave.
However, Rain-thundershower with dust-storm/strong gusty winds is expected at scattered places of Kashmir, Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions), & Hazara divisions, while at isolated places in upper KP (Malakand, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu divisions), FATA, south Punjab (Multan, D.G khan, Bahawalpur divisions), northeast Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi, Naseerabad divisions), upper Sindh (Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad divisions) and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
The sun will shine with full strength in plain areas of Sindh including Larkana, Jacobabad, Nawabshah and Sukkur.
The Met office has predicted 10-20 percent more rain in the country in the months of July, August and September.
