Lahore will bury rigging allegations on October 11: Hamza Shabaz

LAHORE:  – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz said on Friday that Lahore will bury the rigging allegations on October 11. He said that while the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, wants to lockdown the cities of Pakistan, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif takes measures that make the shopkeepers in Karachi open their markets,

Addressing a public meeting in Doongi Ground of Samanabad while campaigning for NA-122 by-election, Hamza Shahbaz said that the poor people of Lahore are happy with Metro Bus. “The only person who has a problem with Metro Bus is Imran Khan”, said Hamza. He said that Imran Khan will keep shouting and Metro will keep working.

Coming down hard at Chairman PTI, Hamza said that Imran Khan wasted 2 and a half years of the nation, got the Chinese president’s tour cancelled but now Lahore will be deciding. “Imran Khan! You lockdown cities, Nawaz Sharif gets Karachi opened”, said Hamza. He said that the ‘New Pakistan’ will not be made under the leadership of those who got their loans waived off and grabbed people’s lands but will be made under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He told Imran Khan to get a heart like that of Nawaz Sharif in order to become a leader.

“Don’t mess with the ‘Tiger’. The Tiger won’t let you go”, said Hamza. He said that he was sure of PML-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s victory but it was bigger than just an election. He said that the judicial commission rejected all three claims of PTI and Imran Khan and now Lahore will bury these allegations forever on October 11.

Speaking on this occasion in his own style, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique bitterly criticized Imran Khan. “Grow up Imran Khan! Stop lying now. When lions wake up, no one can contest them”, said Rafique.

PML-N candidate Ayaz Sadiq said that the people of Pakistan gave the mandate to Nawaz Sharif but Imran Khan isn’t ready to accept it. “He actually wants to become the PM”, he said.

Addressing the public meeting, Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali said that the people will have to decide. “You know who is taking Pakistan on the path of progress”, said Abid.

The meeting was addressed by PML-N leaders Mian Marghoob Ahmad, Pervez Malik, Khawaja Imran Nazir and others.
