MONACO – Britain’s Jenson Button will return to Formula One for next month’s Monaco Grand Prix to stand in for Fernando Alonso at McLaren.
According to details, the former world champion Jenson Button had called it a day at the end to 2016 season, but will race for one more time as Fernando Alonso will not be available for Monaco Grand Prix on May 28 race. Alonso, the two-time world champion, will race in the Indianapolis 500 on the same date instead of Monaco.
Three-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has welcomed Jenson Button’s return and said it is a good idea that Formula One drivers should race in other series as well.
Lewis Hamilton also expressed his own wish to race in a MotoGP in future.
