Iranian Parliament approves security agreement with Pakistan

TEHRAN (Online) – Iran’s lawmakers have approved the bill of agreement for security cooperation between the Islamic Republic and its eastern neighbour Pakistan.

According to IRIB, the security agreement was approved in Tehran on Sunday by 187 votes in favour, 14 against it and with 6 abstentions on Sunday.

The bill came to the Majlis floor after getting the approval stamp by the governments of the two countries.

The agreement included one single article with 11 sub categories and is in terms of fields and ways of cooperation, expenditures and other cases such as avoidance of cooperation by any involved ministries concerning security cooperation.217964_97438243
