LAHORE  – Indian media reports regarding the details of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr Tahirul Qadri s visit to the country in 2012 have opened a new Pandora’s box as they reveal that Qadri thanked Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi for providing him with security but the PAT leader did not said anything on the 2002 anti-Muslim riots in Gujarat,

Qadri visited Indian state Gujarat in 2012 for the inauguration of Minhaj-ul-Quran’s office. He was provided with full security during his visit for which he thanked former Gujarat Chief Minister (CM) and incumbent Indian PM Narendra Modi.

During his visit, Qadri was asked on multiple occasions by journalists to share his thoughts regarding the 2002 anti-Muslim riots in Gujarat but PAT leader stated that he shall not comment upon any event.
