Hafeez Shaikh reviews social, economic needs of tribal districts


ISLAMABAD – Adviser to the prime Minister on Finance, revenue and financial Affairs, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh said that federal authorities would increase all possible assistance to merged districts of erstwhile Federally Administrated Tribal areas (FATA) to fulfil its wishes and assist the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in its endeavors to work for the social and economic improvement of the merged districts of FATA.

Abdul Hafeez Shaikh stated this while chairing a meeting held in Islamabad on Monday to study the social and economic desires of erstwhile FATA. He assured the meeting that Ministry of Finance might timely manner freeing of budget for the merged districts.

The assembly become also knowledgeable that the Federal authorities had disbursed enough price range at the rehabilitation of briefly displaced men and women (TDPs) of the former tribal businesses.

The assembly was attended by means of Adviser on established order, Mohammad Shehzad Arbab, Finance Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Taimur Saleem Khan Jhagra, Secretary Finance, Naveed Kamran Baloch and different senior officers of Finance Ministry.
