Cold, dry weather expected in most parts of Pakistan


ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Very cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 48 hours, Pakistan Meteorological Department reported on Friday.

Dense foggy conditions would continue in plains of Punjab, KP and upper Sindh during next few days.

According to Met Office, dense foggy conditions may affect flight operation at Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot, Multan, Faisalabad airports and flow of traffic on Motorway M2 (Lahore to Pindi Bhattian sector) during night and early morning.

Coldest places recorded during last 24 hours include Skardu -9.0°C, Parachinar -8.0°C, Gupis, Astore -7.0°C, Hunza -6.0°C, Gilgit -5.0°C, Dir, Kalam -4.0°C, Malamjabba, Risalpur -3.0°C, Kalat, Rawalakot, Quetta -2.0°C and Lower Dir -1.0°C.
