April Fool’s Day: Beware of pranksters today

LAHORE – 1st April is here and so is the day when people will leave no chance to turn the other a complete fool.

Pranks and practical jokes are the main highlight of this particular day and can result out to be either best or worst part.

It’s a tradition that date back to five decades.

Till 1564, New Year used to begin at the end of March but France’s king ordered change in the calendar after which the New Year started commencing from January 1st.

However; some uniformed people still celebrated the New Year on April 1 and exchanged gifts and hence were called April Fools.

The day is celebrated all around the world including Pakistan, UK, US, France, Ireland, Poland and India.
