ISLAMABAD : – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Additional Director and former head of the Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT) Wajid Zia and investigation officer will record their statements today (Monday) in the accountability court in assets beyond known source of income reference against former finance minister Ishaq Dar.
Assets beyond known source of income reference against Ishaq Dar has entered in the final stage as statements of 26 out of total 28 witnesses have already been recorded.
Former head of JIT in the Panama case Wajid Zia and the investigation officer would be the last witnesses to record their statements in the case.
During the previous hearing Wajid Zia could not record his statement and informed the court that the final report of the JIT was submitted to the SC, adding that he did not possess the report. In response, the judge Muhammad Bashir observed that they will ask the registrar of the SC one more time to provide the JIT report.
