ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal says government has taken bold measures to achieve macroeconomic stability, overcome energy crisis and ensure infrastructural development.
Talking to media in Islamabad, he said the government will achieve the target of six percent GDP during next fiscal year.
Ahsan Iqbal said an amount of Rs. 2,113 billion has been proposed for public sector development programme in the next budget.
He said 325 billion rupees have been proposed for infrastructural development in the country.
The Minister said infrastructural development will ensure the development of backward areas of the country.
