KARACHI : – Golimar Football Club (GFC) was victorious against inmates after match held in juvenile prison.
A large crowd of inmates gathered to watch the nail-biting contest as it ended in 1-1 and was decided on penalty kicks. Golimar carried the day in penalty kicks.
Sindh sports minister sardar M. Baksh was the chief guest on that occasion. He distributed shields and awards among players.
Despite dearth of resources, but immensity of passion, juvenile inmates displayed great prowess in tackling the ball. They vowed to become professional footballers and law-abiding citizens once their sentence ends.
