LAHORE :- The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled a terror bid and arrested three terrorists of banned organization during an operation in Lahore on Tuesday.
According to details, CTD personnel conducted an operation on intelligence reports in Mughalpura area and arrested three terrorists belonging to ‘Daesh’.
A CTD spokesperson informed media that the arrested terrorists were identified as Shoaib-ur-Rehman, Abdur Rehman and Amir Saleem. He further said that the terrorists were planning to carry out terrorist attacks on law enforcement agencies in Lahore.
The CTD spokesperson further informed that a huge quantity of explosive material and a large number of hand grenades were recovered from arrested persons.
The arrested terrorists were sifted to to some undisclosed location for further interrogation.
